Blog Tour: Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout Interview

Standard
1.     Do you have any pet peeves?

Probably someone talking to me when I’m trying to write. That will get under my skin like nothing else.

2.     Where is your favorite place to read/write?

Mostly at my house. If I tried to write outside in a public spot, I’d be too distracted.

3.     What inspired you to want to be a writer?

Several things really. I’ve always wanted to be a writer and for the longest time I wrote with no intentions of doing anything with it, but then finally I decided to really do it.

4.     What is next for you? Can you share anything regarding a current work in progress?

Right now I’m finishing up Apollyon and then I’ll be working on another contemporary that has a… ghastly influence that is really creepy. Very excited about that.

5.     Who/What has influenced you the most?

This may sound crazy, but the people who look at you like you’re crazy when you tell them you’re a writer… they influence me the most.

6.     Can you tell us your favorite line of Pure?

“I told you before I’d never let anything happen to you. I meant it.”

7.     Do you incorporate any part of yourself into the characters or place that you have been?

Some of the locations I’ve actually been to, especially in the Lux Series, but I try to keep my personality out of the characters. Sometimes the characters do say things I’d say in real life, but for the most part, I try to not influence them.
