My Opinion: This was good. It was just like the first but better. The secret admirer was pretty cool but got creepy really fast. I was also VERY happy with the decision she made about the guy. It was who I was rooting for.
Okay on to the plot. The mystery was actually really good and the “stalker” was a HUGE twist. I was not expecting that.

Ms. Harrington did a great job in how she worked all the other characters in the story, from Clare’s new real friend to the girls that have been tormenting her becoming her friends to the boys and the stalker and the missing girl. It was a fine tuned machine. The present and the past working really well together.

Clare became more aware of what she wanted to do in her life. She is also someone that will go for what she believes rather than listen to her mom, who told her not to participate in police investigations because she was afraid. I’m amazed by how well the stalker was able to evade her ability as well as how the stalking progressed from one stage to the next. Harrington must have done some research into the progression of this type of stalking so I was impressed (I watched the show Stalked on Netflix after I read this, it has some good information on how to protect yourself).

The book was simply well written and enjoyable. I couldn’t put it down.

My Opinion: Unbelievable! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this. I read this in 3-4 hours. I love Clare. She is such a great character. Ms. Harrington, THANK YOU! for writing this amazing piece of art. This was an amazing read and even though the plot is based on the murder of a girl named Victoria and then two more people, it focuses more on Clare and her ability and the type of person she is.

And the COVER! can anyone say gorgeous? I know I can. I’m getting a little tired of all the dark covers appearing. I’m starting to like the lightness and cover contrast in this one. More covers should be coming out lighter I think.

But my favorite character after Clare had to be Madame Maslov. She was just so quirky and fun, I think. And she totally proved to be the impossible. (Was that a little spoilorish? I hope not.) Anyways you guys should definitely read this. A GREAT READ!
