Archagel’s Viper (Guild Hunter #10) by Nalini Singh

This is one of my favorite series and I had it preordered the moment it was available on Amazon. Can’t wait to finish reading it and let you all know about it. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, try to and you might also fall in love with the main characters, a kick-butt no BS female heroine  and the same for the male protagonist.  You can find out more about the series on Nalinisingh.com . If you sign up for her newsletter you will also be able to read exclusive short stories that she sends in them about the psy-changeling and guild hunter series.

Once In a Full Moon (Full Moon, #1) by Ellen Schreiber

Hardcover, 292 pages
Published December 28th 2010 by Katherine Tegen Books

Beware of a kiss under the full moon. It will change your life forever.

Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves—Legend’s Run is famous for them. She’s used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend’s Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student. But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight.

Her best friends may never forgive her if she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who’s from the wrong side of town. But she can’t deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste’s hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend’s Run.

Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens . . . once in a full moon. – Goodreads

My Opinion: I have to say… the concept of this was interesting… the writing… not so much. Ellen Schreiber had me hooked on Vampire Kisses books, and when I found out that there was going to be a series on werewolves, I was really excited and I have had this on my shelves for a while now waiting for the perfect time when I can read this and just relax and enjoy it. I have been anticipating this. But now I am sad to report that it wasn’t all that. It was just a simple read, REALLY simple. There wasn’t really any thinking involved in this one the only big thing that made me think in the whole story was who was impersonating the werewolf on the news.

Thee really is nothing else to say about the book. I might read the second in the series but it very doubtful. I would most likely read it just to see that it gets better, I am hoping, just hoping that it gets better.

Overall: 2.5 out of 5
